OUR STORY
Our story began in February 2000, when George and Vivian took over Goodys Gourmet Sandwiches in Peakhurst. They quickly established a strong reputation for excellent food and service in the bustling industrial area.
In 2009, they embarked on a partnership at the renowned Penshurst Deli, transforming it into a vibrant café deli specialising in gourmet goods and home-cooked meals.
Most recently, George managed Relish Foods in Broadway, a bustling café within Broadway Shopping Centre, offering a haven for shoppers and centre staff alike.
Since May 18th, 2021, they have been warmly welcomed by the community of Oatley, taking over East Avenue Espresso. They express gratitude to Angela and George for founding such a wonderful café and are committed to continuing the legacy they started.
As someone who is a coeliac, George is always looking to incorporate new and delicious gluten-free sweets and meals into our menu.
Unlike many Sydney cafes that still charge extra for gluten-free products, at East Avenue, we believe you shouldn't have to pay more to accommodate a gluten-free diet.
